work wants a VPN, now what ?

my employer decided to implement a VPN here, now what ?

I've got some basics, but no clue how to proceed, any information on getting started would be helpful, also any background or white papers links would be helpful.

My work uses the Sonic Wall VPN for our VPN needs. They are pretty easy to setup for first-time users who have a browser-based setup system similar to how linksys is. Also check out their website for details and more VPN information.

David depends really on what you want to use it for but check teh freeswan site
