Hi!!!
Imagine that I have a 2h task with two resources assigned and I want resource 1 to work 0,5h at the beginning, resource 2 1h after the inicial resource 1 work and finally another 0,5h of resource 1 at the end. I could do this with three connected tasks each with its own resource. However, I really need to indent those tasks and assign resources to the resulting summary task.
My question is, adding the resources to the summary task and manually editing each resource work, if that summary task turn out to be overlocatted if a levelling is applied will my custom countour remain unchanged?

Thanks to all.

I would not assign resources to the summary task. You may edit the work in the Task Usage or Resource Usage view.

Regarding leveling - this is such a fine grained approach to Project that I hesitate to say that I would get this detailed. Set up the task and set it initially as Fixed Duration of 2 hours. Assign the one hour of work for each resource and let Project spread the work evenly across the 2 hour duration. Unless you are accurately capturing what each resources is doing every 30 minutes - I see this as being too detailed.

Thanks for the reply. The situation I've described is just an example. My real problem is that I have a machine that is used by a human resource for some amount of time. Before it is able to be used again it needs to be cleaned be the cleaning team. So I have task1 -> task2 -> task3. Since I have other projects that use the same machine with the predecessors form that I am using I can't be sure that after leveling I won't get two task1 in a row, that is use the machine not after it gets clean but after another use from another project.

Any suggestion to bypass this issue?

The cleaning task needs to be a separate task and I would set the leveling priority to 1000. You will still need to review the plan to ensure that the machine cleaning process always occurs before the machine is used. Do not assign the resources as summary task level.
