Hello All,

Can somebody tell me how I can make a table that doesn't allow a page break?

Now if I create a table that does fit on 1 page but it doesn't fit on the page because there is some text above it, word breaks the table in 2 and I don't want that.

Is it possible that word doesn't break the table in 2 but automatically adds a page break above the table or something???

Thanks.

Marc D.

There are two possible solutions:

You can mark table rows and Format->Paragraph->Keep with next or mark first row and Format->Paragraph Page break before

Another way is just manually enter page break Ctrl+Enter

There is no way to make it automatic. You may try to change Table Grid format's Paragraph properties to Keep with next.

THX!! The Format -> Paragraph works just the way I want it to work!!

Do you also know how I can keep the chapters on one page?? I have the same problem with chapters that fit on 1 page but span 2 pages because of the text above.

I use headers to mark the chapters.

Sorry didn't mention that… I tried that at Styles and Formatting and setup the header but it didn't work... And it only works for a paragraph and not the whole chapter....

You have to apply "Keep with next" property to all paragraphs in the chapter except for the last.

OK, this seams to be a manual thing... I've tried it with my styles but it doesn't work.... But when I select the chapter myself and do keep lines together it works...

AAAAAARRRGGGGG 1 million options you don't use... But they didn't at this...

Thanks anyway!!!
