Word to XML (TEI)

Hi Everyone.

I work at a university and we are looking to convert our Theses and Dissertations (that are in MS Word format) to XML based on the TEI dtd. All of the Word documents are using the Styles formatting based off of a template.

We would like to have it so they are viewable online based on an XSL stylesheet.

What would be the best way to convert Word files to TEI and to manage the stylesheet?

Hey,

I tried that method and it is very buggy with tons of crashes a long the way. Thanks though!
