When I open a Word 2003 document and save it as a pdf, the page numbering changes because the document formats differently. The pdf version seems to have different fonts too. Is there a way to convert a document from Word to pdf and have the formatting, page numbering, margins all stay intact. So that the Word and pdf documents are identical.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

If you're using a special or unusual font, it sounds like you have to emmbed all of your fonts into the PDF.

You should also check to be sure that your document paper size and the paper size of the exported pdf are the same.

If you use Acrobat as a printer you can use printer settings to check if the settings are correct.

Good luck

Aloha,
