When I convert word to .pdf using acrobat 6.0 professional it loses it's links. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?

Thanks,

Hize

...there have been many posts on the adobe forum about link problems even with acrobat 7 pro...

...there are updates for 6 here, update your version may be worth trying:

Under your Adobe PDF in Word -> Change Conversion Settings are the following checked?

1. Convert cross-references and table of contents to links
Convert Word Headings to Bookmarks
Add bookmarks to Adobe PDF
Add links to Adobe PDF

2. In Word, access the Adobe PDF menu. (It is typically on the far right of your menu bar.) Choose "Change Conversion Settings" and uncheck "Enable accessibility and reflow with Tagged PDF" and click OK.

3. Standardize your Styles and delete all unnecessary Styles.

We Also Have a Problem With Links

We check all the solutions you have this person, and our problem still persists. Any ideas?

All of a sudden we're getting an error message when we try to open links in a published pdf file. It says,

"Authorization Failure
OK. This is our intranet, but what would cause this message? It's never happened before and we have permissions to access this location and can reach it through links in other documents.

Another team member has noticed that when a link wraps to a second line, Adobe is creating two links instead of one. Of course, neither works.

Any suggestions on either problem?
