Word page numbering

I have a word document with pageX of Y in the footer. When trying to print this doc from a particular computer in normal view, the pages all print 1 of 1, 2 of 2, 3 of 3, etc... instead of 1 of 27, 2 of 27 and so on. If I first change the doc to print preview it prints fine, if I send it to any other computer in the office it prints fine in either view. This is a solitary issue and probably won't come up again, I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to why this would happen. Thanks
