Word opening with FrontPage

strange thing....

when i go to open Word XP, it now begins the install for FrontPage. it just started doing this.

i've gone into File > Options and set the File Type (.doc) to open with Word but it still tries FP.

Any suggestions?

sounds like office wants the cd again.

have you tried putting it in?

haven't tried repairing office yet so that might be my next step.

i was just trying to figure out why, all of a sudden, it's now trying to open FP.

i'll report back.
