Word OEM

I am not sure but anywau here it goes the question:

Can one sell one license of an OEM product, like Word 2000?

the detail is one old PC decommissioned(retired), we have left the OEM licenses, such Word 2000.

Can we resell this license as used, of course...?

According to the Software & Information Industry Association Anti-Piracy FAQ, OEM software is illegal when not used in acordance with the software license

I suggest you look it up on their website.

It isn't possible to generalise but OEM versions of Microsoft software are sold at a discount and licensed only for the machine with which they are sold. I believe, but am not certain, that they can continue to be used on that machine if the ownership of the machine and the software both pass to the same new owner.

All (not just OEM) software is illegal when not used in accordance with its licence.
