We use Office 2003, Outlook for email and use Word for Outlook mail editor (HTML format). All formats for emails set to Arial in Outlook. We create Autotext to insert signatures (the name is size 12, the rest is size 10) and have a sTrAnGe situation when using it. The Autotext for the signature in question is all in Arial size 10.
I sent an email to a vendor and they replied and the email was still in HTML format. I replied to them at the top of the message (existing text below what I typed) and everything I am typing is Arial, the email message below what I am typing is in Arial, BUT when I insert the Autotext signature the text comes in Times New Roman and size 12!!!
No matter what I do, I cannot get the Autotext to come into that message in Arial format. I cannot find where Word is grabbing this font from, the normal.dot is all Arial, the email is all Arial, what I am manually typing is Arial, but the Autotext comes in Times New Roman. WHUT????
Does anyone know what might be happening here or how to FORCE Word to only type in a particular font/size/color no matter where you type or what Autotext you insert?
Thanks!
Scott
