When I bring in an existing document and click on font or font size or bold/italic/underline, it seems to take almost a minute before I regain control of the screen. I am running Small Business Office 2000 on a Dell Dimension with Win98SE, 128 memory, 20gig hard disk. HD is partitioned with Windows and Office 2000 in C:, and documents stored in D:. I have checked my Font folder but don't see anything unusual - I have even deleted many fonts including those that are not True Type. Anyone have any ideas as to why this delay occurs?

Thanks for your suggestion, but all Small Business Office 2000 updates and patches are installed. The problem still exists. Obviously there is something about the linkage between Office and the Fonts folder that I know nothing about.

This sounds like a Printer Driver problem. Try removing your printer driver, then reinstall it.

Yes I agree with Rythemton, I've has this issue with Office 97, 2000 Pro also, and it always seems to boil down to the printer.
