Users are logging onto the network and then opening word. When they do this, work done by previous users that have logged onto the computer is appearing. This only happens on a few computers on the network. Would be very grateful if someone knows how to solve the problem.

Hi

do the offending PC's have a strtup switch set?

In Windows NT, click the Microsoft Word program icon, and then click Properties on the File menu.

2 In the Target box or the Command Line box, enter the path to Microsoft Word; this path is usually C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Winword.exe.
3 Add a startup switch to the end of the path. Hope this helps
