Running Acrobat Pro 6.0 in Windows XP with latest MS Word. When I open word doc and click on "Create PDF" nothing happens. When I print to Acrobat PDF, it won't convert. What am I missing here? Thank you.

It's not obvious straight away what is wrong.

I find by far the best way to convert Word into PDF is to *Print* to PDF. Sometimes the convert to PDF doesn't get everything right whereas print to pdf is much better. You have to choose the options and must also choose where to save the PDF.

Remember, though, Word's illustration tools do not convert to acrobat, or anything for that matter, at all. So It's best to print to pdf and then use illustrator to import any illustrations.... but that's just keeno!

Hope that may help ;-y

Try creating a ps file, I think word creates a .prn file and try distilling this file instead of using the option in word.
