Word crashing after opening third document on NT4 trerminal server 1

we get the following error mesage in our event logs after the word application closes: -

WINWORD.EXE - Application Error : The instruction at "0x308d0bbc" referenced memory at "0x00a4fffc". The memory
could not be "read".

Does anyone have any idea's!!!!

Word application closes once this crash occurs.

What version of Word? What OS?

Word 2000, windows NT4 terminal server, this is happening on both of our terminal servers.

I do battle with Office on a daily basis, and the best thing that I have found when any office application crashes consistently is to just reinstall the entire suite. It is a good idea to completely remove everything, including shared files when you remove it (Add/Remove programs does not always remove everything). Search for 'completely remove office 2000' on MS KB and you will find a host of articles on how to remove it. After you've deleted all the files and registry entries, reinstall it.
