word: copy a table

My table is a bit complex with merged cells' all kinds of borders etc..
I'd like to copy it and paste it elsewhere.
When i do it the merged cells turn out to be of different size and i get a wrinkled table.
Can anyone tell me how to do it right ?

ok.
i selected table->select->table and then edit paste (regular paste, not "add cells") and this time it worked so, i'm sorry if i made someone trying to help when things turnt out fine or if i was un clear.
