I stored some logos as autotext entries in MS Office Word 2003 SP1.
I'd like MSWord to pick up the right logo, depending on the Author of the document.
Eg.: if the Author of the new doc is Bob, the field (AUTOTEXT Logo_(DOCPROPERY Author)) would be result as (AUTOTEXT Logo_Bob) and the final result in the doc it would be the Bob's logo.
But it doesn't work! Why? Maybe the autotext entry name couldn't be made of two elements (letters and variable result)? Is there a workaround?
Sorry for my poor English...

Use an IF statement in the field codes.

Thanks Gerry!! The solution you suggested is the same I use at now. It works but is not dynamically and is very complicated to manage if the authors are more one or two:

1) You need to make many nested IF fields: one IF field for each Author;

2) in case of new Authors you have to add new If fields manually.

My goal is a dynamically solution...

TNX in advence for the answere
