Hi All,
I hope the collective experience of the group can assist me with the problem I have.

Problem
One of my clients, a high school running 1.8 Metaframe has some problems.
When even a small number (10) of users are logged on and are all using
either Word 2000 or Powerpoint 2000, they experience not just slowness
but freezing of the applications. It seems to be mostly at the time when
they go to the menus to do something.
The problem seems to have moved from general slowness of the
applications responses, to freezing after changing from a ICA DOS client
to a ICA 32bit Windows client.
Rebooting of server will resolve issue for a while.
Monitoring task manager on server shows Word or Powerpoint instances
holding CPU usage to 100% for generally long periods

Client setup
PI 166, 64k desktops
ICA client is 6.20.985
Windows 98 running a VB wrapper that launching ICA session, as the shell
instead of Explorer.exe
Uses "std desktop" application

Server setup
Citrix Farm
2 PIII Dual 800Mhz, 1G RAM, 9G SCSI drives
Windows 2000, Metaframe 1.8 +SP3 and hotfixes
Office 2000 is loaded locally on both servers.
Medium audio, and audioo mapping has been turned off with no effect
Rick Dehlinger's tuning tips have been applied

Network
10M to client desktops
100M to Win2k domain server

Thanks for any ideas

Can you confirm whether or not you used the Transforms when installing Office 2000.

Yep, Office 2000 Disc 1 with installed using termsrvr.mst and Disc 2 without any transform, as per M$ recommendations
