WORD 97 Help plss

Good afternoon,

The problem I have is strange to say the least.. The user has tis document when launched in MS Word 97 it stays active for 3 secs and then just closes itself down. IE(Word closes completely) I don't have time to analysis the situation.. The document opens fine on other P.C's. Just this particular 1 crashes word everytime. All updates have been applied

Any help is appreacitad

Check size of normal.dot. It must be less than 32K. Save it into another directory then delete it, try open doc again (restore normal.dot if no success).
Sometimes it helps...

Thanks ArkM for the tip but it was unsucessful.. Tried it but still the document in questions flashes open for 3secs and then disappears.
