I have inserted an image into a document and want to rotate the image slightly to one side or the other. In doing so, after printing the document out it shows horizontal lines going across the image. I rotate the image back to the original place and it prints out fine. It looks as if it is a grid showing where the original document was level. The lines only show when the document is printed out and it looks fine on screen. I have also inserted other images onto the same page and rotated them but they have no lines showing. I cannot see any difference in the settings of the two pictures but I am sure I am missing something somewhere. Anyone have any kind ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Hi,

This is often a function of the printer driver, not necessarily the application.

You may be able to print the same document with two different printers and get results that are not identical.

You were correct on this one. Printed to a different printer, HP 4050, and it printed fine. I went to the printer properties of the HP color laser (4550 I think) and went to the color tab and selected Send Graphics as Raster instead of Vector. That fixed it up!

Thanks!
