I've searched the MS knowledge base and the net for a problem i'm having. I'm hoping someone here can help. I've run into a problem printing documents. Sometimes, in the print preview the lower portion of the text gets cut off and it prints that way too. But the text is within the printer margin limits. I use letter size pages, not custom.
It doesn't seem to matter what printer i send it to, so i don't think it's a print driver issue.
Specs:
office 2k sp3
win2k pro sp3
hp 8500 and hp5n printers.

Hi, You can check a couple of things: In Page Setup, make sure the margins do not reflect anything with a negative measurement. Then make sure the header/footer margins are within normal limits, i.e., .5" or so. Check your vertical ruler and make sure that the text is not falling into the dark gray area on the ruler.

All headers and footers fall within normal boundaries. There's nothing odd with page size (just using letter) and no odd headers or footers. What's weird is that sometimes happens halfway through a document. But it seems once it happens subsequent documents will have the margin error also. It's some sort of bug or weird hidden setting, but i haven't been able to trace it to anything specific.
