Thanks in advance for any replies.....
My question is: is there a setting in word that causes a new window (not popup dialog box)to come up when doing a find or replace. I just installed a fresh copy of Office 2K on a new dell P4. I used the same install disk, that I've used on several other machines running W2K Pro. But, this install brings up a new word window (like a separate instance of word)and displays the search popup dialog box in this window, when I invoke the find option. It will not display the original document and the search dialog box at the same time. This new window, will not minimize. Any help would be appreciated
