Is there a way to fill a shape with a pattern that looks like wood grain? For example, lets say I make a square, I right click on the square, click format/fill and it would be great to have a wood grain pattern.

Thanks
Dale

Use PowerPoint to create a .JPG file containing one of the wood patterned backgrounds, or use a .JPG of some other image of wood. Cut the .JPG image and paste it into Visio. It can then be manipulated like any other object.

Hope this helps!
