How do you make my computer see all the 15.3gb hard drive. I think you can enter the size in the setup by using the user defined but I don't know what to put. I do have win95b that has fat32. Do I have to upgrade the bios or does that have anything to do with my problem?

I got the information for recognizing my hard drive but why did it only see 14.2gb. What happened to the other free space? The drive is a 15.3gb.
Thanks

Your problem most likely involves your bios version. Your can flash your bios, which will then allow your computer to recignize larger hard drives. Your can find info on this at

Dad,

Now you've got bios upgraded ok, no problems. 15.3GB is 15,300,000,000 bytes (drive manufacturers always define a gigabyte as 1,000,000,000 byes). But there are other definitions of a gigabyte - like 1024*1024*1024=1073741824. On this basis, you drive is 14.2GB - which is what you're seeing.
