WMI Repository Backup Failure

I keep on getting the following error in a daily backup. I suspect it is a corrupt sector on the disk. Without replacing the drive, is there any way of rectifying this? I can't seem to find a way of manipulating the WMI repository or doing an integrity check. I am not receiving any further error logs.
