Upgrade from 4.5 to 5.0. WLAN 6140's were programmed as i2004. System converted them to 2210's and now the call logs are gone. Any idea on how to get them back the SS's look like they are se up correctly.

Try the CHGTYP command 2210 to 2004 p2

If I change type to 2004p2, next time the phone registers, it changes back to a 2210.

Did you get the latest firmware for the phone added at the time of the upgrade? I have site that went through the same type of upgrade, I will check to see if they are having the same problem next week, but they only thing I can think of is firmware for the phone..... funny thing is that the 6140 does not show up but 2210 does.....

All phones and the Telephony Manager 2245's have the most recent firmware.

I am having the same issue with the 6140 sets reverting back to 2210 sets...this is a new 5.0 install...has anyone found the fix ?

The PBX thinks the phones are 2210's on 5.0. I don't think they are recognized as 6140's until 5.5 software.

Thank you very much...this is a 4 Seasons with HOTBOX paging that has to have the 2004p2 imulation...

Ok...on 5.0 the 2210 set is using the 2004p2 imulation so that part is fine, phones work well...I ran a trap in the Sig Serv and found that there is a keymap issue...worked with Nortel and we had to install patch MPLR24199....rebooted the wireless handsets and everything works...this patch is not part the the Nortel PEP'S so look for it...
