I have a customer on an Avaya v11 sp2
The customer's lines are sip.
There's a particular number to a company that they would like to withhold there number as there's some issue with this customer.
I've tried the programming in Call settings but it still sends the CLIP
Even when i put the barr CLI code before the number it still presents the cli.
Would appreciate some advice
Thanks
This is in Australia

you may have to send a bogus number if you are allowed to do that.
or try to enter "anonymous" into the name and number because that is what comes in on my SIP trunk for withheld numbers

May also be that your provider automatically sends your number if they don't receive anything.
I would monitor the call and see if you actually send anything and if not you know already that the provider does some wanky stuff, then you can go from there and try if you like to trick them or open a ticket with them to allow it.

I once had a provider that would ignore the NW shortcode on a PRI, but would accept *67N just like dialing it on your home phone. (*67 is the Vertical Service Code for withholding your calling number)

If they are not answering your CLI they will quickly learn not to answer withheld numbers - if they don't already
