Hi all,
These errors appeared in the file systems backup. What does it means ? What do you suggest to do ?

--- Unsuccessful Save Sets ---

* node1:index 1 retry attempted
* node1:index save: WISS error, an invalid slot number
* node1:index save: shutdown failed

* node2:index 1 retry attempted
* node2:index save: SYSTEM error, I/O error
* node2:index save: shutdown failed

Regards

The WISS error points to a defective media database problem - obviously the slot of the media in the jukebox is wrong.

Try to repair it with
- nsrck -X
- Re-inventory the jbox
- Worst case, recover the media index (mmrecov)

The SYSTEM error points to a client problem. I assume that this is a client related problem which you may investigate with system related tools.

Thanks you very much
The problem was fixed, here are the steps that fixed the problem.

The networker daemon was up and I run the following commands

1) nsrck -F
2) nsrck -m
3) nsrck -X

Then I run a test backup and it finished ok.
