Wish is the best server for windows?????

I would like to find out wish is the best web server for windows 98, to teste my php pages with mysql, i have tried PWS, PHP easywindows, and i did not have any success....

Can any one help me........ :-I

You can install Apache. It does the job...

if you upgrade (bit of a contradiction in terms i know!) to win2k you can use IIS and then php win32 download configures most of it for you.

or you could use linux. which is just better.

I use Personal Web Server on win98 to test my php's. It works just fine. You have to download a special app though; it was a little tricky to install, but nothing major.

is where it is. I am not using MySQL though, i use ms access. It should support it though.

Try PHPTriad.

It is a file that lets you install PHP, mySQL and apache with a click of a button.

Just go to sourceforge.net and search for it, you will find it and then you will be on your way.
