I have a couple of users who are having issues with the Wireless Calendar Sync on AT&T models 6210 and 6280. It is set up to sync, however it does not sync with outlook (MS Exchange). Outlook version 2003, Desktop Manager 3.6 SP3. Any ideas?

Might sound stupid, but have you reset the devices since enabling wireless calender - I mean, calendar - sync? ;-)

Yep, more times than I can count. Even thought about throwing it up against a wall a couple times. Decided against that though.

The next step I would try would be to remove the Wireless Calendar Sync checkmark from the PIM settings under the BDM's Intellisync, to shut it down, start it back up again after a few minutes, reselect the Wireless Calendar Sync option and then sync the handheld.

I have removed the wireless sync several times. But never in the manner you suggest. I will give it shot and let you know. Thanks.

That did not work. Back to the old drawing board.

Last recourse for me is to completely wipe out the user's Intellisync folder and to initiate a fresh sync.

This folder is located under C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync

Delete the folder's contents (not the folder itself) with the BDM turned off, then start it up again and sync up.

If that doesn't do it... you may need to call in a priest for an exorcism. :p

Done that several times. This issue is one that will drive a man to drink.

This happened to me. Go to blackberry.com and do two things. Download the latest version on desktop manager. SP4 or somthing. also look up how to do a clean uninstall. Next uninstall application on the computer..reboot and install newest desktop manager. Finally configure PIM without the option Blackberry wireless sync. Do this just to test if it will import. When it checks out ok enable Blackberry wireless sync for calendar. Hope this works.

Had 2 users that had issues with wireless calendar sync using Lotus Notes, DesktopManager 3.6. The calendar would sync fine via the Lotus Notes connector but when switching to wireless the process would hang and the cpu usage on pc would peg at 100%. The end result was that both users had corrupt or unreadable entries in their calendars that the wireless sync could not decipher. The users had to clean out their calendars to just this year's entries and then all worked as it should.

A way to find out what is actually occurring is to enable advanced logging and have your carrier's support staff interpret the logs. If you go to RIM's support site there is a document that will explain how to enable advanced logging (Article Number 01451). There is also a decision tree(Article Number 02862) to assist in troubleshooting sync issues.
