Hi all, I have a problem. At home I use Remote desktop to connect through a VPN tunnel to my computer at work (both running XP). At work they use linux server. This way I can work and print stuff to my local printer at home (that is directly connected with USB to my home computer).

Now I've invested in a wireless solution at home. Wireless router with wireless printserver. Unfortunately the printer doesn't show up anymore when I VPN to my computer at work. So basicly I can't print stuff from my computer at work while sitting at home.

Is there anyway to fix this problem?

I'm not sure how the Linux server comes into this? Is that where you are printing from?

It sounds to me like the remote printing facility you are describing is provided by RDP, in which case you probably aren't asking the question in the right forum.

Thinking about it I think the RDP can't redirect IP_XXXXXX printers. So that's where the problem is. I've asked the question in WinXP forum instead.
