HI All,
I have a dell laptop with TrueMobile 1150 Wireless card. I used to use it without any problem every where. Lately, I have been having a problem browsing any website. It says the signal is strong, but I can't browse any site. I have a little knowledge about networking and I am not sure what to do.
Can someone advice me what I need to do to fix my laptop.
Thanks.

Just because you get a signal does not mean you are connecting to the internet.

First off you will have to look at the bottom right hand corner of the monitor - there should be a icon for wireless - if you right click on it and select "Wireless Networks Near me" it will show you all the networks it can possible hook too.

If the wireless network you select is unsecure then you will have to renew your IP address by - right clicking on the Wireless Icon and selecting repair.

Here is the situation..
I used be able to connect any unsecure network without any problem. Now I can see the network under the preferred list, but it won't connect. I tried with another laptop and it works fine..I also tried to repair and it didn't do it..what should I do?

Good day, Sorry your having a problem but lets check it out

First What wireless connection are you using?

If it is a something other than microsofts - the best way to fix the problem is by reloading the wireless application.

Do you get a IP address?
