Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had connected digital norstar extensions to the KSU using a wireless phone jack system. I understand that it will work if an ATA is used using a standard phone, but was wondering about the digital phones. Anyone have any experience or other suggestions. Equipment is a 3x8 DR1 with T7316s. No VM.

Thanks,
Matt

I don’t understand what you are asking...

Are you wondering if there is some type of wireless phonejack that allows you to put an extension somewhere without using copper cabling (which I have never heard of)?

Or are you asking about cordless Nortel phones?

Now I understand, but unfortunately, don’t know the answer. Maybe someone else has tried that.

I doubt they'd work. They are designed to xmit/recv voice not digital data.

Ok, so now that the consensus is that they don't work, are there any alternative solutions. This is for an existing home, and have no possible way to run copper to this location. Thanks again!
