I have a client on an IPO Version 9.1.5. They are using Avaya Communicator 2.0.3.33 soft phones and One-X Portal.
The receptionist does not like to be tied down with a wired headset, and has purchased a rather expensive unit to gain freedom. The headset works great and has excellent audio quality. The issue is that she cannot press the "connect" button on the headset to answer an incoming call. Has anyone experienced this? I paired the headset with my mobile phone to test and it works as designed.

There are only a few Jabra and Plantronics headsets with USB tested. They usually need additional software to allow call control.

It works with Skype for Business, just not Avaya Communicator.

This is known bug, fix is out in the IP Office release 10 communicator.

Classic Avaya, releasing software that is inferior to the previous version and believing it is better.

Communicator

No Headset integration
No Presence/BLF
No 6 party Video

What a joke.
