DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A WIRELESS HEADSET SOLUTION FOR THE ATTENDANT CONSOLE ON A DEFINITY SYSTEM? JIM.

I am not aware of one, but if one exists, these people will have it. They also make the Avaya headsets.

Here is their technical support line.

"You don't stop playing because you get old. You get old because you stopped playing."

For the best response to a question, read FAQ222-2244.

The problem is that the attd console has so many buttons and no wireless solution will have all of them. I have some attd's that use a transtalk when they need to leave the console. It works ok.

If you have a prong to rj9 jack and you have a wireless phone that uses the handset cable to communicate. It will work. Since the 302 console doesn't have an off hook function and you have to push a, b, c etc.. buttons to answer a call. You would not be able to automate answering the call with a handset lifter using the wireless headset.

so the attendant would push the button to answer the call and turn on the wireless headset. But they then could walk around etc... The 302 consoles are dual prong jacked... so one side could be used for the handset and the other for the wireless handset.

Thanks,
