I have a WUSB54G adapter on a win2000 pro machine connecting to a WRT54G ap/router. When I boot up the computer the adapter connects to the ap with no problem but it doesn't connect to the network, I have to go into WLAN Monitor and select the default profile and select connect. Once I do this I am connected to the network and everything works fine. I also have a WPC54G card in a XP notebook and it autoconnects to the default profile just fine.

Any Suggestions?

Linksys TS has been unable to give me any help, they pretty much gave up and said it's probably the bios on my motherboard.

Thanks
Perrin

Thanks for the suggestion but I already have the threshold and RDS set to 2304, made no difference.

How about the interference? Are both wireless computers placed in the same location?

Both are in the same building seperated by one wall and within aprox 50ft of eachother, signal strength is pretty good and I'm connecting between 24-45Mbps.

Problem solved, I canned win2k and put in XP Pro, works like a charm now.

Smylies, thanks for the suggestions.
