I have two buildings approximately 300 yards apart connected together with Cisco 1310 access points/bridges. The 1310's are configured as root and non-root and their sole function is to extend the LAN from the one building to the other, they are not used as access points and all workstations connected to switches. All workstations on both sides connect to the internet via a proxy server running Symantec Web security which is located on the root side of the wireless link. Computers on the non-root side of the link cannot browse the internet if they are set to go through the proxy, if I remove the proxy setting from internet explorer internet browsing is fine. All other connections from the non-root side to the root side of the wireless link are working perfectly (terminal services, outlook, windows explorer, database connections etc)
Any ideas most welcome.
Thank you.
