Is there anyway to have 2 wireless connections on 1 laptop. The laptop im working on is from work that has the static ip information in it for the office. I have to take that information out to get it to work with my home wireless connection. I would like to find a way not to do this. I know i can setup hardware profiles but that solution doesnt work all the time. I would like to have 2 seperate wireless connections in "network connections" using the same intergrated adaptor. Im not sure this is possible but it would be pretty cool if it is. Im running xp pro sp2 with linksys wireless g router.

what you want is to configure the Alternate configuration.

Open up the connection properties, dbl click TCP/IP, in the TCP/IP Properties, click alternate configuration tab and put in the static details there.

Here is a thread that explains it a bit too.
