wireless connection active but cannot connect

Hi
I have a BT voyager wireless router, and I am trying to connect to the internet my ISP is Talktalk.
The router is showing as connected and all looks fine.But I cannot connect to the internet. My IE6 settings are "never dial a connection",and automatically detect settings in my broadband settings.
Any other points I am missing.

If you go into the configuration page of the router and check on its status are you getting a IP address from your ISP?
On your PC click on start -run - type in commandd click ok.
In the box that opens type ipconfig /all press enter. Check the ip address for your gateway and make sure that it matches the Lan IP address of your router.
