I am running windows 98 and I can not access the internet. I have a wireless b card working off a G router, and my OS is windows 98. I was able to access the internet and now I can not. Went through my nt components to see if everything was set up right and it looked ok. Does any one have any suggestions.

You haven't given a whole lot of information like is your wireless card actually getting a signal and if so how strong .Your best bet might to open everything up if you have any kind of security employed like WEP, mac address filtering and also put the SSID back into the router and verify it matches the SSID on your wireless card exactly .

If you can specify what model it is then someone can try to assist your problem, the reason why I said that is if you are trying to use a Linksys with a Netgear it would give you lot of problems and also you can tweak it to make it work but it would give you like a 50-75% output but if you use the same vendor on both then you will get the maximum results. so please do specify atleast some information on the networking components rather than just specifying a B Card with a G router. I am sorry if i was rude but that information is important to the person who is helping you.

No it did not sound rude at all. Actually what it was a bad router. Went out and got a new one and everything is working. That was my bad for not giving more detail. Thanks for the help.
