Hi all,

I have a computer with Server 2003 on it. I would like to erase everything on the hard drive and install XP Home. What's the best way to do this? There is no need to have Server 2003 and the computer seems to have some problems, running really slow. So, I thought I would wipe it out and start over.

Turn off the computer.

Restart it with the XP disk in the CD drive. (Make sure boot sequence has the CD Rom before the hard disk)

When following the prompts delete the partition and create a new one. and then format the partition.

This will erase absolutely everything on the computer

Then win XP will be installed with out Server 2003 being on the disk.
