winword error 1

Hello,
I’m experiencing a funny problem with Microsoft word 9.0.2717 .Any time I try to open a word document I get the message below.

‘The system is dangerously low in resources. Would you like to terminate the following applications? Microsoft Word (not responding) Win Word 9.0.2717’’

I’ve used the application repair utility, reinstalled the OS i.e. Win Me, checked Device manager no errors, run Norton’s Anti Virus with current definitions but I still get the same problem, I’m kinda confused as to what type of Application might be using a big chunk of my 128 mb ram and a P4 proccessor. Help Needed.

"c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\winword.exe" /a
Close word and
copy and paste the above command in the run box and choose ok word should open and fix the problem you are having , if this does not work for you delete normal.dot and try again.
If you are still having issues get rid of winMe as well all know this is not the best OS avaliable upgrade to win2000 pro or win xp pro and you should be fine, on second thought get rid of winMe.
