Hi everyone.....

I have a Biiig problem, my client has lost his properly licenced version of winSPM, and I need to do an inventory of his system and a huge bunch of changes ASAP! Can I order just the CD, or does anyone have a copy to e-mail or send to me, or even download???? It would be super appreciated!

Thanks everyone!

u can download all the revisions from the avaya website....I did and the program works fine...

Hey chesapeakecomm,

thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, my client doesn't have SPM installed on any machine, and the Avaya site only has upgrade patches. I spoke to Avaya, and they said that they wanted us to spen the $110 and buy a whole new version, even thoug we have a valid bought licence!!!!! This sucks!

What do you think???

I don't believe that you can download the entire SPM program from the website.....except for R.4 or R.5. If you really don't want to spend the $$ then you could download the older version and do several patch upgrades to R.8. It depends if TIME or MONEY is more important in making the decision.

I don't mind upgrading from a lower version, but as I said, my incredibly stupid client lost WinSPM, Windows Server 2000, WExchange 2000, and all of his Windows and office 2000 cd's. Microsoft replaced all the cd's (22 in total) for less than $90, but Avaya won't give me just the replacemnt CD for the prog. And I can't wait the 14 days that Avaya wants to send it here!!!!!!!!!

Arrrrggghhhhhh!!

thats what i meant....download all the patches and upgrades to r8.

I did it and its fine....

go to avaya software website under legend or magix and download all the patches & upgrades...

Supposedly, (and I haven't verified this), the R4 "patch" is a full installation download. If you can get that running, the keep patching it up to R8
