WINS Housekeeping

Hi all

I am doing some housekeeping of my WINS servers. There are 9 in total across 4 domains. I have servers in the owners list that have been decomissioned when I delete them from the owners list they reappear again after a couple of days. So i used the set filter option and found a record of this server in the mappings list under a[1Ch] domain name. When I double click on this I can see the server but have no way of removing it because the arrow is greyed out. Please someone help me with this it's making me mad as I have plenty of IP's to remove from the database.

It's been awhile since I maintained wins, but I think you need the PersonaNonGrata registry key in all your wins servers. You would put the list of decommissioned servers in this registry key on each wins server. For more info, see
