Please help,

Im using winrout pro. I have a simpel LAN 3PC's plus 1 winrout firewall and an alcatel adsl modem. With all my computers i can use internet (works perfect) And with portmapping i can take over my computers through internet. There is only one thing i want further and that is from one of my computers I want to make a telnet connection with my adsl modem. (its not easy to walk to my firewall to configure my modem). I know I can tweak my alcatel modem but then i cant use all the bennifits of winroute.

Is there an answer. I have tried portmapping 23 but im doing something wrong.

Thanks

Marcel

So you can configure you modem from the firewall but not from the PC? is this correct. And you don't want to walk to the firewall, you want to stay sat at your desk?

why don't you just VNC to the firewall and then telnet from there?
