Can someone help me out with a step by step preinstallation of WinXP Pro

I can't astablish a network between technician computer and mastercomputer

Thx in advance

A 'little' bit more information would help.
As you post it, it can be anything. If the solution is out there, let us know it was helpful, so others can benefit from it as well..

Sorry

I got the OPK kits for WinXP Pro and HE

I followed the complete instructions layed out by Microsoft at this link, check it out

cek/content/Guia_de_Preinstal_WinXP_con_OEMKit.doc

Anyway, I installed the software (setupmanager) on my laptop (technician computer) and saved a configuration for Windows XP Pro (WinBOM.ini) to a floppy

I booted my desktop computer (mastercomputer) with the OPK CD with contains a slim version of XP Pro and inserted the configuration-floppy

At this point, I get a dialogue window wich shows me the tasks that are in work

Then I get an error message at the "establish network" task

Error goes something like this:
"Cannot confirm with server, failed to establish network"

I checked the FAQS on oem.microsoft.com and found out that they need to be in the same IP range.
I managed to solve this problem, but still got the same error

If u need more feedback, let me know
