Winows 2000 Novell Client

Has any one got Novell Client 4.8 to work in Windows 2000. And how did they get it to work .We have a number of Programs that need the Client to work properly in Windows 2000 Profesional.

I've had 4.8 running fine (I'm now running 4.81). What problems are you having?

Hi - We are just working on converting over to Windows 2000 using Novell Netware client 4.81 but are having problems getting the default capture settings (Banner and no notify)set for the client when they log in. I set the settings while logged in as Admin and test ok. When the client logs in they get no banner and are notified of the print job. These clients are basic users so have virtually no rights to do anything except run what we give them.

How do I get it so that the image I make will already have their banner set to print and no notification after print job? Do we have to manually adjust this for each new profile that logs in?

I think you do. We are running with the client, but I've noticed that because the other user accounts have restricted rights, almost all of the changes I make to the system, even on the client, don't stick. Try making them Power Users, making your changes, log off and on, then change them back.
