Hi,

I've an NT 4.0 server box with sp6. Pent 3 - 500 Mhz with 1GB of ram. I've Exchange Server 5.5 running on this machine. On NT Task Manager under Processes, it showed that STORE.EXE is taken up 850 mb of ram and my server is really slow. Is STORE.EXE the information store on exchange server? and why is it taken up so much RAM under Processes.
Any ideas on how to fix this issue? I've max out my RAM on this box.

Thanks

Kevin

The store.exe is notorious for memory leakage. You can overnight setup a start and stop of the IMS which usually cures the error. also antivirus email scanning software has been known to cause this fault. Check with your AV supplier to see if any patches are available for this error.
