I have sever Winframe server, i need to be able to pick which server i want to be Master IP Browser. Reason being that the Wyse terminals that we are using only have either 1 or 5 slots to enter the Master IP Brower. If a Master IP Browser Election is held by the servers and a server is selcted that is not one of the ones entered in the client list it can not attach to the servers

There is a registry setting that can force a server to be or not be a Master Browser. The Microsoft default in for this setting to be false (that is the server is first brought up as NOT a master browser). I need to find my notes to give you the exact path but it is under HKey_LocalMachine\CurrentControlSet... The key is: ISMasterBrowser You want to set this to True to make your server the Master Browser in the Domain and false for those servers that you do not want to be master browsers or participate in broswer elections. This is a quick way to stop browser election traffic on your network.
