Boot with the XP CD and use Recovery Console.

Inside Recovery Console do a chkdsk /r

If no joy, follow the instructions in the links below to do a repair restoration of your registry:

Try taking all the cards out of the PC except for video and then boot the system up. If you don't keep rebooting, replace the cards one at a time to locate which driver may be the culprit.

Could this be blaster? do you get any error messages etc or does it just restart forever.
If its a RPC call or something like that i would suspect blaster

Are you gettin the BSOD and then an immediate reboot?

I have a quirky laptop that does that once and awhile, I have two ways to fix it...

1) Unplug it and shake it... honest this worked more often than any other solution, I'm not recommending it, but it amuses me enough to share when I can.

2) Boot into linux, access all the harddrives/partitions, then reboot.

I'm not even going to try to guess why any of that fixes anything, but it's my personal experience, possible it may help.

I am having the same problem. There are no error messages displayed. I am in the process of trying all the start configurations, Safe, LKG, Safe with network, etc. If I come up with anything new I'll post.

Make a Linux liveCD and take a look around to make sure nothing's too out of whack.... Knoppix & Suse both have very good offerings as do many others.

When I attempt to boot to a command prompt it stalls at the following line....
\Windows\System32\Drivers\Mup.sys
and then reboots after awhile. I can't get to a command prompt or anything else.

You might want to look at the ram,it can sometimes have that effect.
