I have a Linksys wireless A+G network, with 2 PCs on it working fine. I placed an adapter in a third machine that used to have an AOL DSL connection. I unchecked the old DSL protocols and deleted the old connections from "network connections" and added a new LAN connection. The hardware connects to the network fine but it doesn't connect to the Internet. If I right-click the connection icon in the system tray and click REPAIR, it says that "TCP/IP is not enabled for this connection." But I have checked TCP/IP in the connection definition as usual. (Of course I've checked "never dial a connection" as well.) It seems like something left over from the old DSL setup may be blocking the TCP/IP binding for the new wireless connection.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jonathan
